Description: Mrs. Thompson, representing the Governor Thompson, signs the 140th anniversary proclamation. The picture at the scene was duplicated by the artist in this positive with Lincoln giving his toast and Andrew McCormick, a representative and future mayor of Springfield, looking up at Lincoln.
