Subject: Idea sketch for an ink & wash art work for the Lincoln-Grant exhibit in the National Guard Museum in Washington, D.C.

Description: There were several scribbled ideas over several conversations in Springfield, Illinois with Lloyd Ostendorf, Dr. Wayne Temple and Phil Wagner. Ostendorf took the ideas and came up with this original pencil sketch. The items in the sketch were researched by Dr. Wayne Temple. The Illinois National Guard approved the sketch.

Phil Wagner commissioned Ostendorf to complete the ink & wash. The original was donated to the Illinois National Guard.
