in 1837.
Description:
Mrs. Robert Wilson, seated at a table in her home with
her husband, Robert L. Wilson, Henry C. Rogers and Lincoln planning
the Long Nine banquet. The banquet was held in the Rogers Building
in Athens, Illinois.
The Long Nine were
responsible for getting enough votes to move the Illinois State
Capitol from Vandalia to Springfield, Illinois.
